Caixa Cubo | CANIL_

Recorded in August 11th 2012, this session was the last recording made at CANiL _ , a space of free cultural expression located on the campus of the University of São Paulo, before its destruction at the behest of the rectory. Caixa Cubo is a project born within CANiL _, where pianist Henrique Gomide and drummer / percussionist João Fideles met.

Even when inspired by compositions, it is the free improvisation that rules on this session. With dialogues inspired by rock, free jazz and electronic music, it reveals an outstanding musical interaction between Fideles and Gomide that sounds spontaneous, intimate and real.
